E14: Dr Dean Radin and The Science of the Supernatural
Dean Radin, PhD, is Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Associated Distinguished Professor of Integral and Transpersonal Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. He earned an MS in electrical engineering and a PhD in psychology from the University of Illinois. Before joining the research staff at IONS in 2001, he held appointments at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, and SRI International. He is author or coauthor of over 250 technical and popular articles, four dozen book chapters, and four books: The Conscious Universe, Entangled Minds, Supernormal, and Real Magic.
Do supernormal abilities exist? Is magic real? Or are all experiments that purport to show such things merely in the realms of pseudo-science and quackery? Dr Radin has spent his career challenging the status quo of science and demonstrated through rigorous scientific means that reality is not quite what it seems…
In this episode, we dive into precognition, intuition, supernormal abilities and the nature of consciousness
His latest book, Real Magic, is out now.
